On your mark...get set...
I have put this off long enough. I love to read and I love to write. Most of what I write and read is fiction. I am just an ordinary guy who likes to do ordinary things. I hope you will enjoy this blog and I hope that you will join in on this blog.
I have never blogged before, but I have enjoyed reading other bloggers blogs. I will set the bar low. How many of you have been reading along consistently on a favorite blog only to see the dates in between writings becoming like a long stretch of highway that never seems to end? Then you visit the blog one day and you read the "I've been giving this a lot of thought, this blogging thing has taken over my life. I'm am going to take some time away from this blog" obituary.
So, I will set the bar low. No high expectations of a new posting everyday. I feel consistency is more important to readers than failing to meet expectations. I will post once a week or so on topics that deal with writing, reading and other things that come to mind that seem important at the time. What I won't write about are politics *gags* or economics *takes sip of strong drink* or other ics that are Icks *runs to bathroom*. There, I'm back.
